The existing driveway made up of  poured concrete was removed. It was a drab and dated driveway in need of an update.

Our client wanted to improve the front of the house by replacing the existing area of concrete.

We also removed the drive gates and supplied custom made iron gates

We completely removed the existing driveway.

We then began the extensive work of laying out the new design. This included a new sub base,screed and sand level needed for an accurate water level.

By altering the direction of the stone we created sections of pathways along the outer edge of the drive.

The Stones create a bright uplifting area that could not be achieved with the old concrete drive

Although this back garden was extensively paved the owners were tired of the existing paving design. It was a run down area with a color scheme that did not complement the house or surrounding garden.

We completely removed the existing patio including the base. We used a new membrane underneath to guarantee no weed growth

Virtually maintenance free this back garden is transformed into a courtyard with a vast array of large planted areas that provide plenty of seasonal interest set on the natural stone paving.

Extensive Planting

Lakeside Landscaping undertook this extensive design project to completely reform the existing driveway and garden areas. By creating different levels of planting and pathways and seating areas – the space was transformed.
The pathways consist of natural pea gravel bordered with limestone kerbing which provides a maintenance free solution to your walkways.

Sheltered Patio Area

On this exposed site finding a sheltered area was never easy. The design team at Lakeside Landscaping developed a series of semi-circular walled and paved patio areas. Using Donegal granite stone for the walls and McMonagle limestone setts we created a stylish and contemporary patio area.

Bespoke-Limstone-Seat

The oval contains a custom made limestone seating area. With raised beds at the back of the wall we ensured the new patio blended in with the remainder of the garden.

Extensive planting

Varying levels of raised beds thought the site provided both visual coverage and shelter from the prevailing wind. We used railway sleepers to contain the beds which adds character to an otherwise plain border.

This south facing front garden was an under utilised space. Our client wanted to replace the grass with a patio area.
Although it is a compact front garden Lakeside Landscaping designed a mixture of flowing pathways, planting areas and lawn which is not too cluttered and compliments the house as a whole.

We used bright Donegal stone quarts setts which complement the colours of the shrubs and lawn adding an extra element which could not be achieved with different stone
